In the year of 2017 (Jan-Dec), total value of advertisement on 8 national (I.e. those, which broadcast from Baku) TV channels amounted to USD 280.5 million (without VAT and without any discounts, I.e. Price-list-based only). During the same period of 2018, total value of advertisement on the same channels amounted to USD 276.1 million (also without VAT and discounts) or 1.6% lower than 2017 value.
Total value of advertisement on 12 national (I.e. those, which broadcast from Baku) Radio stations: USD 43.8 million in 2017 and USD 39.2 million in 2018 (without VAT and without any discounts, I.e. Price-list-based only). Thus, there was a negative growth rate that amounted to -10.4%.
Total value of advertisement in 24 local newspapers and magazines in 2017 amounted to USD 0.6 million, while in 2018 it has dropped to USD 0.5 million (both figures are without VAT and without any discounts, I.e. Price-list-based only).
Total number of outdoor ads in 7 largest cities of Azerbaijan: 42.7 thousand in 2017 and 40.8 thousand in 2018. Besides monthly monitoring of all stable advertisement in Baku and regional cities, currently SIAR also audits such categories as advertisement on buses, in underground, on parking places, in malls, on lorries/special trucks as well as various BTL activities.
Average number of online articles and posts with key-word “Azerbaijan" in more than 140 countries: more than 400,000 per month. Currently SIAR monitors content of online media in more than 140 countries (via special software package).
